There are different kinds of validation that we do in PeopleCode which purely depend on our requirement.

Also, we SQR programs mostly for reports and interfaces which need require many validation.

There are lot of validations involved in peoplecode and SQR. And also there are lot of requirements. If this is for interview purposes, i would suggest you to go through the peoplecode language reference to find all the in built functions,methods,classes. It wil give you a fair idea of what it is all about. They have also got examples there. Same with SQR.
