Re: SQR

Hi Anitha,
You can see the SQR out put in View Log/Trace ancd click on the PDF url.
Did you give the process name correctly (EX: your SQR name.SQR)
Did you include the SQC's in your SQR program? ()
Check with the runcontrol parameters in your SQR

And also check weather you have included the below in your SQR .

Begin-PROGRAM
do Init-DateTime
do Init-Number
do Get-Current-DateTime
do Stdapi-Init
do Process-Main
if $prcs_process_instance='' or $prcs_process_instance=' '
do Get-Values !runs from the desktop
else
do Select-Parameters !runs from Process scheduler
end-if
do Stdapi-Term
End-Program

Running a Report through the Process Scheduler
-->Open the PS Sign on page
-->Click on PeopleTools
-->Click on Process Scheduler
-->System Process Requests
-->Click on Add a New Value (Ex:1)
-->Click on Add
-->Click on Run
-->Select check box Cross reference window listing. (SQR Reports)
-->Click on Ok.
-->Click on Process Monitor (to check the Process status)
-->Click on Details on any of the running / completed Process.
-->Click on View Log/Trace
-->Click on PDF Url

Re: SQR

Hi,

You have to insert some SQc's in your SQR program. I'm modifying the SQR given by you. Analise the SQR and Try it.

#include 'setenv.sqc' !Set environment
#include 'setup32.sqc' !printer and page-size initialization

!****************************************************** *****************
Begin-PROGRAM
!****************************************************** *****************

do Init-DateTime
do Init-Number
do Get-Current-DateTime
do Stdapi-Init

do Process-Main
if $prcs_process_instance='' or $prcs_process_instance=' '
do Get-Values !runs from the desktop
else
do Select-Parameters !runs from Process scheduler

end-if

do Stdapi-Term

End-Program

!**************
Begin-HEADING 15
!**************

Print 'MY SQR REPORT' (6,63) bold

!**************
END-HEADING
!**************

!**************
End-PROGRAM
!**************

!*********************************
Begin-Procedure Select-Parameters
!*********************************

Print 'This is an sample SQR program (RunNed through the process scheduler)' (15,6) Bold

!***********************************************************************
End-Procedure Select-Parameters
!***********************************************************************

!**************************
Begin-Procedure Get-Values
!**************************

Print 'This is an sample SQR program (RunNed through SQRW window)' (15,6) Bold

!**************************
End-Procedure Get-Values
!**************************

!****************
Begin-footing 4
!****************
Print 'MY SQR REPORT ENDING' (4,10) bold

!*****************
End-footing
!****************

!****************************************************** *****************
#Include 'stdapi.sqc' !Update Process API
#Include 'curdttim.sqc' !Get-Current-DateTime procedure
#Include 'datetime.sqc' !Routines for date and time formatting
#Include 'number.sqc' !Routines to format numbers
!#Include 'reset.sqc'

Re: SQR

Hi,
Rename your SQR (Ex: abc.sqr) and place it in the server (SQR folder). And follow the below process again.

Process Scheduler:
Scheduling a Process :

-->Click on People Tools
-->Process Scheduler->Processes
-->Click on Add a New Value
-->Select the process type as SQR Report.
-->Enter the process name
-->Click on ADD
-->Select the Process Definition tab
-->Select the Run control ID that u have created for the existing project
-->Select the Process Groups as ALL PAGES
-->Save it

Running a Report through the Process Scheduler
-->Open the PS Sign on page
-->Click on PeopleTools
-->Click on Process Scheduler
-->System Process Requests
-->Click on Add a New Value (Ex:1)
-->Click on Add
-->Click on Run
-->Select check box Cross reference window listing. (SQR Reports)
-->Click on Ok.
-->Click on Process Monitor (to check the Process status)
-->Click on Details on any of the running / completed Process.
-->Click on View Log/Trace
-->Click on PDF Url
