It is not enough to just indicate that a field is a prompt. You will have to indicate the prompt table on the field properties. Is that what you are asking?

Just open the record the field on, double click your field and on the Record Field Properties, chose the Edits tab then select table Edits then put in the Prompt table. That's all.
