Hello

I created a new page, component and menu (TEST). I registered a component under a new menu TEST. I given a permission list AEAE1000 in component registration process. I am able to see the content refrence(link) online, but when I clik the link it displaying a message like "you are not authorized to access this component". whehn I went to security -> Permission list -> Pages , I clik the + button to add my new manu name under that permission list, but my new menu (test) is not showing in the lookup page. I queried the PAUTHITEM for my new menu name , It exist in that table. I even queried PS_PSACLMENU_VW2, the new menu exist in tht table too. Please let me know why I am not getting my new menu name under that permission list and where I am missing

I am using PS HRMS 9.0 DMO and PT 8.49

Re: Component Registration Process

I have 3 SQLs that help me troubleshoot problems like this one. Check them out here. You can use them to check roles, permissions, and users that can view a certain component/page.

Can you tell me what do you have setup as "Node type" on your content structure page for that component? Compare it to a page that you can access. That might be another reason why you can't access the page.

The prompt button on that page is not really related to any permission list. If your menu exists in the database then it should show up.
