App Package Question

Hello,

I am pretty new to PeopleSoft Dev. We have some common functions we use stored within the field formula event of a funclib record. I have been doing some reading stating that I should be using an application package for these common functions. Can anyone tell me what the benefit to this might be and when I should use which?

Thanks.

Re: App Package Question

App classes is more of a OOP approach and everything can be organized in a logical manner.

Re: App Package Question

Functions existed before application classes and thus everything you do with function you can with application classes. I currently put everything in classes and very rarely do I store functions.
